Summary: ostree.gnome.org: Further workarounds for page
allocation
Classification: Infrastructure
Product: sysadmin
Version: unspecified
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: Normal
Component: Other
AssignedTo: sysadmin-maint gnome bugs
ReportedBy: walters verbum org
QAContact: sysadmin-maint gnome bugs
GNOME version: ---
See: https://access.redhat.com/knowledge/solutions/64189
"
Resolution:
* Increase vm.min_free_kbytes kernel tunable to a higher value than a single
allocation request.
* And the customer has changed "zone_reclaim_mode" to 1 and so far these
systems have been running without memory allocation failure.
"
So can we add echo 1 > /proc/sys/vm/zone_reclaim_mode to the puppet scripts?
It just needs to be done once per boot.
