I seem to recall some documentation on the wiki regarding a Nagios
installation, but it was behind an .htaccess login that I didn't have
access to.
I'd like to have a look at this and see what can be improved. Did you
say it is (or was?) running on signal? Perhaps this was lost in the
apparent migration from Debian to Gentoo? If so, I think that is
another reason to move services away from signal. Again, appreciating
their contribution, if they are going to migrate us to a new OS and
potentially break or even remove services, that's a problem.
Perhaps the two are unrelated and I'm talking out of my ass. Either
way, I'd like to have a look at the Nagios setup if anyone can confirm
where it is/was.
