<owen> I think in the big picture of things I'd definitely encourage getting
things sort of there locally before doing the import, and maybe finish-impor
tshould even refuse to work if there is no master branch
<hadess> owen: except that there's no instructions in the "new-repos" page on
how to create a git repo from a tree...
<owen> hadess: that complaint could be in another sysadmin bug, or you could
just go ahead and add the info yourself
<owen> (git init; git add <stuff>; git commit)

The SVN and CVS pages allowed to start from an empty tree, or just the current
tree, without any particular VCS specific commands.
