This is probably more gnome-i18n material:
Would Transifex be something for GNOME? E.g. somehow allow transifex to
see *all* GNOME modules, then let translators commit?

I need to check how authentication is done though. A general
'free-to-commit' won't work. Plus how documentation is done.

(if you add gnome-i18n to cc, please kill gnome-infra + sysadmin and
remove any reference to DVCS switch.. too early for wide announcement)
