Re: [Announcement] Upcoming changes to GNOME’s mail infrastructure : gnome-i18n gnome org mailing list is to be discountinuited

Yes, unfortunately, all @gnome.org mailing list will be retired and as a consequence, all the teams that use @gnome.org ML will be impacted.

Gitlab notifications only apply for string freeze breaks.

All translation related messages in modules (when you click the button ‘send to the mailing list’) will continue to work as before if you use a mailing list not hosted on @gnome.org. If the mailing list that is registered in your language team is not managed by GNOME, nothing will change.

Please feel free to ask questions, we remain available in order to avoid misunderstandings.

Won't DL notice about new uploaded translations and so in Discourse?

Any notice from DL should happen on GitLab, since it refers to projects and the source repository.

Guillaume's announcement didn't mention that language teams will receive notifications from Damned-Lies in their respective projects in GitLab (e.g. Teams/Translation/pt_BR).  Should I assume that language teams should arrange another mailing list system to receive language-related notifications from D-L?
