fur_IT and Friulian

I'm the maintainer of Friulian language in GNOME.

I noticed the presence of fur_IT in gnome languages.

It is at 0% as other languages like it_IT, pt_PT, de_DE are.

Are those languages needed for some reasons/projects?

If so I need to port all my translations to fur_IT (as Italians, portuguese and germans etc. should do respectively) and ask to be the maintainer of that language too.
