In order to sync gnome-software with gnome-software on Launchpad (Ubuntu
Focal [1]), I wanted to download the po file from Damned lies [2], but I
get this message: 403 Forbidden, you don't have permission to access
this resource. I have logged in with my gnome (DL) password. Instead, I
can download it by clicking the button 'PO-bestandsstatistieken, see [3].

Has this error message something to do with the transfer to gitlab?

https://l10n.gnome.org/media/upload-backup/gnome-software-master-po-nl-857283_87bn3N6.po
is a 403. Seems fine as Nathan "archived the actions" before. It's
unclear to me which problem you'd like to solve by accessing that link?

Cheers,
andre

Hello Andre,

Getting this 403 is not really a problem, but a matter of curiosity from
my part. To understand better what happens behind the scenes, I was
wondering why I can no longer download an archived file. Sorry if I
bothered you or others, just to satisfy my curiosity :(

Regards,
Hannie

Oh nah, no bothering at all here. :) You have a good point: "403
Forbidden" is definitely not a great explanation (plus feels wrong).

Maybe you could file a ticket under
https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/damned-lies/issues/new
and ask for a better error message that is more explanatory?

Cheers,
andre

hey
we have translated gnome which is included in launchpad translation of
ubuntu, now we should export gnome translation from ubuntu translation then
importing to gnome translation website? or gnome will automatically grab
them from launchpad to its website?

Best Regards.

Hi,

No. You should make it manually.

Best regards,
