I guess I’ll have to implement my own parsing/formatting function for
the glibc data then. Thanks for looking into this.

I’ve filed a bug against glibc to add a common function for formatting
names in the future:
http://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=14641.
