Trash is a term very very rarely used within the United Kingdom.  If
you look at the wiki[0] articles[1] on the topic you will see that
Microsoft has opted for the term "Recycle Bin" in English (GB unsure
about US) in order to avoid the unfamiliarity of terms,  also a direct
translation of Recycle Bin has been used in the cy_GB (Cymraeg)
translation "Bin Ailgylchu".  When referring to "trash" itself I
believe it best to use the term rubbish and when referring to the
folder or "bin" of rubbish it should be a Rubbish Bin similar to the
Ubuntu en_GB guildeines[2].
