What new modules have been accepted for gnome-2-22?

This is so we prioritise translation.

Regards,

Djihed

It has not been decided yet. See the schedule on
http://live.gnome.org/TwoPointTwentyone
(the release team meets on Sunday to talk about this, fwiw)

Hello,

We are getting near the release of gbrainy 0.5. I have just frozen any
further development. I'm just going to do bug fixes.

You have the most recent PO:

http://svn.gnome.org/viewvc/gbrainy/trunk/po/

and their status at:

http://l10n.gnome.org/module/gbrainy

I please ask you to update your translations before the 10th of January
midnight.

I just want to remark that to have updated translations is very
important to make gbrainy availably to more people in more cultures.

Thanks a lot for your effort,

Hi,

I have currently been seeking feedback and forming a discussion
regarding the grammar of the dialogs in gnome-system-monitor. I am
almost ready to propose a set of changes which will require
translating.

I only hope to have a bare minimum of changes made to the translations
these include, a tooltip to indicate, "click to pick colour", and
changing the words Received/Sent and Total to something more relevant.

I would like to know what the implications of this is and what I must do
in order to make sure I don't break translations badly at release.

K,

Hi everyone,

brasero-0.7.0 was just released or is about to be released (in an hour
or so). This is the new stable version of brasero. It can be grabbed at
ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/sources/brasero

Important note for translators: Brasero has been branched just before
the release. So if you are interested in translating brasero, please use
branch "brasero_0_7". Trunk shouldn't be translated as development will
start again.

Since the development started more than 90 bugs where fixed in this
stable series.

Notable changes since 0.6.0:

- Migrate to GtkTooltip API.
- Brasero now requires Gtk+ at least 2.11.6.
- New Plugin system for burning backends.
- Inhibit/Uninhibit system with Gnome Power Manager via DBUS.
- Support for libburn 0.4.0.
- Support for libbeagle 0.3.x.
- Split audio tracks.
- Improved look to get with HIG.
- Preview widget improved.
- Better handling md5sum on files.
- Scsi library bugs fixed (and also pre-MMC2 drives supported).
- Added an option to choose the number of media to burn.
- Added configuration option for temporary files
- Added button to configure audio levels in preview

Huge thanks to all the people who contributed to this release through
patches, translations, advice, artworks, bug reports.

What is brasero ?

Basically, brasero is a CD/DVD mastering tool for the GNOME Desktop. It
is designed to be simple and easy to use. If you want to know more see

Sorry about that - I did not realize that those gnome-control-center branches svn:externals were referencing gnome-main-menu trunk. I updated the svn:externals to reference the gnome-main-menu branch created right before this commit. This should produce an end overall result of no changes to the gnome-control-center branches. Hope I did this right so as to avoid the rotten fish / tomatoes.

Thanks,
Scott.

As nobody did approve that string freeze break it HAS to be reverted and
I hope that this will be done soon. The developers did not even ask
about an approval so I hope they agree.

http://live.gnome.org/TranslationProject/HandlingStringFreezes states
for breaking string freeze:

"What happens if I break the string freeze without approval?

You risk the danger of being caught by riots of angry, frustrated
translators throwing rotten fish, and risk being publically humiliated
on this mailing list. You have been warned..."

We already thought about bringing rotten fish (and/or tomatos) to
Istambul, btw.

Regards,
Johannes

Hi,

Are there anybody interested in a open-tran plugin for gedit?
Who don't know what is open-tran, visit www.open-tran.eu.

This plugin is already available for gtranslator.

Regards.

Open-tran is a server where is stored lots of .po files
so you can search what you want and see how was
translated in another .po files.
It is like a memory translation.

I think that yes.
