can translators please complain about crappy strings by filing bug reports against the affected modules at bugzilla.gnome.org , with keyword "L10N" set? so are you interested in proper localization and translation, or not? only one example: do you really want to tell me that translating sentences like "An application wants access to the %s '%s', but it is locked" was no problem for you, because in your language %s is also always(TM) neutrum? (i don't want to blame any specific modules here, it's really more about making it clear to the developers to have potential l10n problems in mind when writing their code. it's only you, the translators, who can create that awareness of l10n issues. so please *act* like that and complain.) i'm really shocked when i try to translate modules with split sentences, missing comments or untranslatable strings *and* seeing in the changelog that 10 other translators in the last days act like they didn't have any problems with the modules' strings at all. folks, please get up and make some noise, for the sake of quality. please. andre -- mailto:ak-47 gmx net | failed http://www.iomc.de/ | http://blogs.gnome.org/aklapper
