And Funda Wang(CC'ed) has been the de facto maintainer for zh_CN
translation for quite a long time, while the default contact point (Wang Jian)
is no more reachable.

Probably you would want to ask Funda first, see if he wants to participate,
to maintain the translation on his own, or to delegate any of his
current workload.
IMHO it makes sense to recreate zh_CN team somewhere else, in order to
allow a more vibrant community.
