Re: Georgian (ka) GNOME Localisation Project - Nothing done since 2004

Hello Dear Friends from GNOME

I'm Vladimer Sichinava form Ubuntu Georgian (ka) Translators Team
https://launchpad.net/people/alinux (Here I am)
Who wants to say sadly that , no Georgian translation is done for
GNOME, since 2004.So I've mailed several times
Aiet who didn't or don't respondes to me. I'm
really angry with this situation... because some people
from GIA (Georgian Internet Alliance, site that provides georgian www
standarts and several Open Source Program transaltion ,like Mozilla)
tell me that this person (Aiet) even don't uses GNOME
or Linux, and his translations are low quality georgian translations...
So GIA provided a protest manifest for people with Aiet's type of doing.
http://www.gia.ge/index.php?ind=reviews&op=entry_view&iden=1

And I agree 100% !

He done the same with OpenOffice project... nothing is
done....everything is freezed... So Dear Christian give us
a possibility to improve our GNOME too... I have some Ubunu GNOME
tranlation .po files only on my computer and
on rosetta (Ubuntu launchpad) ... I'll be happy to see the same on
mother GNOME...

I, GIA project in general would like to provide REAL GNOME Georgian

Translation ... so please help us improve....

P.S I don't speak English very well, but I speak Good Italian (I study at Siena University, Fac. Informatica)and Russian and I'm member of Siena Linux User Group :) Thank you a lot...
