Yes, known problem. I'm at a loss to understand (or fix) it too, and I
set it up. As far as I can see, it seems to be something to do with the
way the CVSROOT/loginfo only processes the first match, which will
usually be the script that triggers the 'cvs-commit' e-mail (triggered
on *all* commits). In some cases (the pattern of which I can't seem to
identify), it doesn't make it to the regexp that fires off a seperate
e-mail if the commit contains a change to a po file. Sorry, it isn't
going to make it into my priority list any time soon either :(

That might be the best course of action. I guess it's a waste of
space/time as it stands, so unless someone with more time/patience than
me (or just a fresh perspective) can take a look and figure out how best
to fix it, I'll just disable it over the weekend some time.

Personally, I'd rather find the time to look at all the CVS post-commit
hooks we have in place, and find Subversion-compatible alternatives to
replace them, so that the migration plan moves on and becomes more
feasible. I don't want to spend time debugging/fixing up scripts I'm
trying to replace :)
