Re: eo status



The gettext manual has a nice summary of how to use msgmerge to do that.  You merge the translations from a .po file with the different version of a .pot file.  Where the original messages match, the translations are copied.  Where there is a near-match, the translation is copied and marked as fuzzy to alert the translator that it should be examined more carefully.  In my experience, most fuzzy translations coming out of msgmerge are very easy to fix.  They have different punctuation, or have changed from singular to plural, or something equally easy.
