It looks correct at least.

It would be interesting to have an example with real arabic text;
the arabic.ps above is generated from a mainly latin script file,
with some arabic inside it; all arabic lines start with "msgstr"
in latin, that surely has an incidence in the general directionality
layout, and the postscript files doesn't give indication of how
lines and paragraphs would be displayed with a mainly arabic text.

For some Arabic text you could maybe go to the Arabic version
of Wikipedia: http://ar.wikipedia.org/ and follow some links
for example, the article on Albert Einstein could be a good candidate:
http://ar.wikipedia.org/w/wiki.phtml?title=%D8%A7%D9%8A%D9%86%D8%B4%D8%AA%D8%A7%D9%8A%D9%86&printable=yes
save it as text, and create the postscript file from it, and it will be
a good example to see how good it is.
