Indeed.
In a similar way, there is actually a way to make glade messages not
being marked for translation by editing the "translatable" attribute in
the glade file manually, but since the Glade tool doesn't support
setting it, it will overwrite and reset it to "yes" every time Glade is
used. And this happens all the time as time has shown, so support in
Glade is really needed for this and the comments thing to be usable by
developers. As such, I don't think any hack that will only work by
editing the glade file manually can really be treated as a real solution
to the problem.
