I've made an update to my script. I think it has a few advantages over
the script by stanislav, as it can handle multiple files, and also has
an interactive mode if you have X and zenity (gdialog like). I think
this is especially nice. Just drop the translations in a directory and
fire up my script. It automatically checks the filename, UTF-8 encoding,
syntax, etc... It does everything automagically for a normal commit and
prompts you only when needed (changes needed to configure.in). 

It can also take a few other options on the command line (can also be
selected in interactive mode).

I copied a few things from the script by Stanislav, The part where the
libgimp/po -> gimp/po-libgimp is done. Very nice indeed.
