I can confirm this...
In addition, intltool-update --maintain seems to suggest that one other
existing translatable file has been left out of POTFILES.in by accident.

I'd suggest to first and foremost make sure it is reported in Bugzilla
(http://bugzilla.gnome.org/), if a bugzilla component for the module
exists (and in the case of gDesklets a component does exist).
Also, a friendly reminder of the problem and pointer to the bug report
sent to the developer's mailing list for the module or directly to the
maintainers or authors might help in getting attention to the problem.
The MAINTAINERS, AUTHORS and/or README file if such exist in the module
might give a clue on whom to contact.
