Hi,
In gedit I see the word 'recognized' used as in the following example:
"Sorted list of encodings used by gedit for auto-detecting the encoding of
a " "file. \"CURRENT\" is the current locale encoding. Only recognized
encodings " "are used."
Does 'recognized' mean: it is a standard encoding, known by authorities,
or does it mean: gedit knows about the encoding?
