Personally, I usually try to avoid maintaining two branches at the
same time. Apart from having to update the sources of all modules back
and forth all the time, the biggest problem is that one then usually
ends up translating the same strings twice. Perhaps this can be
avoided by better use of the gettext tools, but it's a burden.
So my view is that people in general won't use the HEAD branch for
quite some time to come. I'd imagine the number of Danish users using
it is at most five. :-) So instead I maintain the gnome-2-0 branch and
port its .po file to HEAD when the time comes.
Don't worry, we won't throw away our 2.0 work, or forget the 2.2
release.
