greek localization of gnome desktop (50 % faulty)

HELP!!!!

greek support is included in my gnome distribution, i see greek menu , i write greek characters , i read greek inside many applications like ximian evolution, but it's not everything greek, what i mean:

 

the icons on the screen have under them greek titles (like the trashcan: instead that i will see in greek Aporimmata, i seek A?????????)

 

that is occurs to many other icons too, it occurs in applications that they are translated to greek and instead that i will see greek text

 

the window "start here" instead that i will see greek on the left bottom side i see ????????

 

the red-carpet updater, it's translated to greek in greek locale but no greek chars to read, instead garbage

 

i hope you get the point

 

any help it will be appreciated
