Translation of webpages

hi folks!
I noticed that the translation is not coordinated very good and i have some suggestions: Why don't we take a look at http://www.debian.org? Their translated webpages seem to be handled very good different to the gnome translation projects. Information how to handle translation is given at http://www.debian.org/devel/website/translating
What do you think about this way of coordinating translations?
