Sounds like a good plan.
I added this problem with non-core modules in the unstable status report
as http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=80084 in bugzilla. I don't
know your bugzilla login so I wasn't able to add you to the cc: line at
the same time.
