I'm very sorry about this problem. But I warned often enough po-toys
aren't compatible with gettext 0.10.36 and later :-(

gettext-0.11 has reached a pre-release stage; most of my hack will
become superfluous with the advent of gettext 0.11; the new gettext
manual will feature a short recipe how to deal with "compendia" (AKA
"translation memory").

At http://www.iro.umontreal.ca/contrib/po/HTML/domain-gettext.html you
can find a link from where to download the pre-release.

Hope this helps -- please ask, when there are problems with gettext
0.11-pre2 (but you must not use it together with po-toys).
