Yes -- since the other is wrong (or at least misleading).  I like to
play safe.

But all in all that's a minor issue; if the majority agreed to use 8bit
characters here, okay, I'll not make a "Zwergenaufstand" ;)

Hopefully, one day we'll use SGML (XML) files for the message strings
and all problems will vanish...
