A budget
Since we are writing the budget for Akademy 2017 I'll be able to share fine tuned details about venue, dormitory and catering costs.
An outline of who would be in the organising team (it would also be good to know if any of the organisers have been to GUADEC before, or if they are planning on going this year)
Personally I attended to, at least, three GUADECs. But probably, sadly, I could not attend to Manchester. The rest of the team are members of the university CS students association.
Clearer and more detailed transportation information. We've looked up some tickets from France and they are quite expensive!
The domestic link to Almería is the bottleneck, yes. In summer there are low cost conections to several european cities. But for many travelers probably the Malaga Airport + Bus could be the optimal alternative. It would be possible to book our own bus if there enough arrivals in a similar time frame.
Details about the cost of daily life for attendees (food, drinks…)
