New Linux Initiative at VMware

VMware is working on this new initiative to make Linux a more viable option on Desktops and Laptops. At the systems level VMware is looking to solve current issues of power management, hot plugging, wireless connectivity, etc. These findings will be contributed back into the open source community. This is being called the vClient Initiative.
