The SVN book seems to say the opposite of this:
http://svnbook.red-bean.com/nightly/en/svn.branchmerge.maint.html#svn.branchmerge.maint.layout
http://svnbook.red-bean.com/nightly/en/svn.reposadmin.projects.html#svn.reposadmin.projects.chooselayout
They seem to suggest that when multiple projects are stored in a single
repository to use the project name as the toplevel, and have
trunk,branches,etc underneath that.
