This sounds like a pain to me... at least the core modules (everything
in a GNOME release) needs to move at once, or we'll make life really
awful for contributors and translators.

Of course, it would be great of GNOME hackers would start using
subversion for non-GNOME stuff so that whenever it actually is
time to migrate (certainly not the day Subversion 1.0 is released)
there will be experience around in using it.
