Just to clarify, when I was talking about GNOME and featuritis/delay,
I would normally consider GTK part of GNOME. I did not mean "GNOME
vs. GTK" but "GNOME vs. other unrelated software projects on the net"

My comments are based on a relatively long view of things going back
well before I'd even worked on GTK.
