well there is at least 2 new bugs (that i've run into) with a cvs panel
since the last release.

	1.  it sometimes crashes on startup
	2.  the Meta key no longer works in the keybindings stuff

george had some reasons why 2. isn't a bug which i disagree with, and 1.
isn't 100% reproducible - but it does happen every once in a while.

this is why i hesitate to make a release - but i don't have time to go
and fix these (nor do i really want to go into the panel code).
