That is exactly why its better to decide in the next few months than 9
mo. from now with the release of GNOME 2.0. Because it will be a long
process, its something that needs to be started early if it will be done
at all. I suspect OO folks will only grow more and more reticent in
regards to GTK+ as time goes on with no mention of our desires. I would
certainely feel betrayed if the first mention of "You need to use GTK+"
occurred 2 mo. before a release we thought we would be in.
