Usable menus at last!

A day of small rejoicing for the GUI-list: noticing that one of the
advertised features of GTK+-1.2.9 is "Improved submenu navigation", I
took advatage of the new version of RedCarpet to test it out. And yes,
GTK now follows Mac/Window Maker rules for submenu navigation (draw a
triangle style) rather than the annoying Win32 style (gratuitous
timeouts) or the original frustrating GTK+ style.
Kudos to all involved!
