Wonderful UI website: http://www.liquid.org/. Doesn't seem very well-known,
but very well done. Click the "Implementations" link. Mac-centric, but
don't let that turn you off. One of their designs seems makes the whole
desktop have two modes, something I initially don't like but they have a
prototype of a _beautiful_ file manager.
