UI Idea

I haven't stayed up to date with the recent developments of Gnome's User 
Interface however it seems you may want to gear more towards novice users 
while keeping the power for expert users.  I would like to suggest a 
sidebar on the right that always displays context sensitive help of the 
object the user's mouse is over if they leave it there for a few seconds - 
like the delay for tool tips in Windows.

An idea for the long term would be a 3d GUI that you walk through in 
virtual reality.  That would be really cool - and if practical, would draw 
many more users to Gnome!
