There are many novice users to Gnome (and Linux) that don't know of such
simple tricks. Maybe you should make such things more up front by
automatically running something like Eterm that any idiot can understand
:). I didn't mean to comment against anyone on this list so don't take it
that way.

Hmmm ... thats why I use Eterm ;-). Besides, if its vtxxx compatible, it
should
support the ANSI sequence to change the titlebar ... its up to the app to
do it
usually, like mpg123 ...
