Draging from window icons

There is a feature that MacOS X has implimented and Windows has for some
apps that I've found very useful. The feature is this: you can drag the icon
on a window border somewhere to drag the document in the window.

How many times have you been working on a file and wanted to send it to
someone on ICQ or attach it to an email and been forced to look through your
directory structure to find it? With this you can just drag the icon to your
email to attach it.

Of course with GNOME the window manaer would have to do most of the work.
Obviously WindowMaker doesn't have icon support and neither does E. I
suppose this feature could be implimented in the tasklist as well but WM
support would be best.

Any thoughts?
