I don't know how one article should make a discussion obsolete -- except if
this article is some kind of absolutum, an opinion which stands and is not to
be discussed. I very much liked the article, though I'm of a different opinion
than the author in some points, even though he is/was an X core developer
(heck, even if he had made X alone in his garage over a weekend *just
kidding*).

Note that I didn't mean the foot discussion but any discussion. I have my
opinion on the foot, but I'll be quiet, I don't want to start a flame fest
again:-)
