keep both here .. this is gnome-gui .. they are both candidates for being the
gnome styleguide ... so what's the trouble ...

bowie: you are not official anything ... you just happen to be writing
something we might consider as a style guide ... so is tom ... there is
no "official" styleguide project ... as this world (free software) doesn't
work in terms of what's official and what's not ... it works in terms of
what is better, not who's doing it ... just because federico asked you
to write a styleguide ... doesn't mean someone else can't do it before you
and maybe even better ...
