call me crazy, but i think it would be better if the Gnome foot were on the
right side. having it on the left draws attention to the foot, and
away from the other menus. as i believe it won't be used as often as
the other ones, it should be on the right and out of the way. think of 
"GNOME" and "Help" as special menus.
