Here's our contribution. Lucas, I used some bullet lists since you told
me you were fine with it, but I can rework things if you want me to. I
also put this in the wiki.

Participation in local events:
+ Paris Capitale du Libre - June
Vincent Untz contributed to a round table with people from Mozilla
Europe (Tristan Nitot), OpenOffice.org (Sophie Gautier), Ubuntu
(David Larlet) about the Free Software communities.
+ JLM (Journée du Libre de Montpellier) - June
Dave Neary was there, although he didn't talk about GNOME.
+ RMLL (Rencontres Mondiales du Logiciel Libre) - July
   GNOME stand held by volunteers.
Talk by Vincent Untz about the GNOME community, how it works and some
   of its heroes.
+ JDLL (Journées du logiciel libre) - October
   GNOME stand held by volunteers.
Talk by Vincent Untz about "GNOME for everybody", ie how GNOME tries
to reach most users and to not ignore needs that are important for
   large groups of people.
 + Gutsy Party - November
Talk by Vincent Untz about the 2.20 release.
Talk by Vincent Untz about the GNOME project and its overall
   philosophy.
+ JM2L (Journée Méditerranéenne du Logiciel Libre) - November
Talk by Vincent Untz about the GNOME project and its overall
   philosophy.

Other events:
+ Guillaume Desmottes talked about Telepathy/OLPC/Tubes at a BxLUG
event on October 28th (BxLUG is the Brussels LUG)
+ on December 1st, Xavier Claessens, Guillaume Desmottes and Frédéric
Péters organized in Brussels a small event to introduce people to the
GNOME development, the goal being to get new hackers. They focused on
a specific case: fixing bugs in Empathy.

FOSDEM organization:
GNOME-FR organized the GNOME presence at FOSDEM, and it was considered
as a success by most people. Christophe Fergeau organized the program
of the GNOME devroom, with many great talks (the room was sometimes
nearly full, ie more than 100 people), thanks to speakers coming from
many countries. GNOME-FR offered free t-shirts to Foundation members
who had registered before; this t-shirt was designed by Andreas Nilsson
and is considered by some as their best GNOME t-shirt (Guillaume
Desmottes handled the printing part of the t-shirts). The love wall
attracted many comments and you could see people walking and just
stopping to enjoy the read. Vincent Untz also took many photos of
people with a small "I ♥ GNOME" sheet. Of course, there were also GNOME
 posters here and there :-)
[Note: I can write a short list of talks that were really great if it's
 interesting]

Press outreach:
+ not strictly GNOME-FR things, but some GNOME-related articles in
   French Linux magazines
+ Vincent Untz was interviewed about the GNOME Office applications and
more generally the office topic in the summer issue of PC Expect
(which is one of the big computer magazines in France)

Misc:
Sadly, we didn't create a new t-shirt this year, but we hope to make one
for 2008. We also plan to have stickers and maybe some other goodies.
Also, we had to cancel at the last minute our presence to Solutions
Linux (one of the big events here) because volunteers were all busy.

Vincent
