Are you using the Compiz session by any chance? If so, you have to enable a switcher plugin.

The Alt+Shift or Super+Space don't replace the language, it always on English.

The settings on gnome-control-center does not affect anything here on gnome-flashback.

Maybe I'm missing something? I'm using Archlinux (from AUR).
