[gnome-flashback] Applets keep crashing

Hi,

Now that gnome-panel works on my current system I have experimented a 
little with it. One thing I have noticed is, when I change the panels 
background to solid color and then adjust the transparency setting all 
panels keep crashing. I have reproduced this several times now.

I also keep getting the following warning several hundred times when I 
do that:

    (gnome-panel:3085): Gtk-WARNING **: FIXME: assigning images is not 
implemented

one more question, how do I get other applets from my system working in 
the gnome-panel after I have installed it to /opt/gnome-panel-3.8? I 
would like to test if my window-picker-applet still works with 3.8 and I 
would also like to use the indicator applet.
