There is an error in the command you have posted. The file
"/docs/nact/es/nautilus-actions-config-tool.xml" doesn't exist, so dblatex
command fails.

This file is located in "/docs/nact/C". Using the folliwng command, I've
generated the PDF file without errors:

dblatex --output es/nautilus-actions-config-tool.pdf
../../docs/nact/C/nautilus-actions-config-tool.xml

(Note that I've changed the XML file's path)

In the other hand, msgfmt returns no error in es.po file.
