The "apt" command is usually only available on Debian based systems.

shows that it's only shown on Ubuntu systems so I don't see a problem.


OK, thanks for clarification. But does it really make sense to merge
such distribution-specific stuff into the (actually rather
distribution-agnostic) Gnome code...? As I remember well, such things
were previously maintained by patching the downstream packages. I'm
not very happy to bother with translations of such peculiarities. At
least, a translator comment should be placed there to avoid confusion.
