freeze break request for gsettings-desktop-schemas and gnome-settings-daemon

Hi,

I've added a GTK+ setting in

that turns on 'caret mode' deskop-wide. This was a longstanding
request from the accessibility team.

To make this really useful, we need an X setting to back this up,
which requires patches to gsettings-desktop-schemas and
gnome-settings-daemon:
