HTML and PDF generation with gnome-doc-utils?

gnome-doc-utils just installs the .xml so that, for instance, Yelp can
render it directly from .xml.

But many projects need to generate HTML and PDF for upload to websites,
and will need to do so even when library.gnome.org provides PDF as well
as HTML.

Does gnome-doc-utils provide any easy way to do this, or is it likely
to? At the moment, everyone has their own funky Makefile.am kibble to
achieve this. For instance:
http://svn.gnome.org/viewvc/gtkmm-documentation/trunk/docs/tutorial/Makefile.am?view=markup
