Hello,
I would like to help a little on the User Guide. I have more
experience now than the last time I worked on GNOME 2.8. Let me
know what I could do.

Hi Angela!
Hi from me too. :)
Angela, if you're not already a member, would you be interested in
joining Gnome Women?
http://live.gnome.org/GnomeWomen
"GNOME Women is a group dedicated to providing encouragement for
women to contribute to
GNOME, a free and open-source Linux/Unix desktop suite."
Everyone with those aims is very much welcome, and I do want to
encourage more female participation in Gnome, so I jump out from
behind sober mail subject-lines and invite women personally from time
to time. :)
Gnome Women isn't heavy contribution, just doing our bit from time to
time to encourage more women in Gnome, in free software in general,
and to support each other, offer tutorials in areas of interest, meet
up sometimes. :)
We had a G-W bug-swatting day recently, which I was unable to attend,
but I'm polishing my swatter for next time. I've also suggested a
combination Translation/Documentation day, where we could work on
some outstanding tasks together. Ideas very welcome. :)
