I can take care of copying material and creating a new
section in the UG about 'Contributing to GNOME'.
Does various CVS dark magic need to be performed to
keep version history or anything like that?

Is this something we want to do in time for 2.14?

Shaun, at some point I'm going to create a Project
Mallard wiki page and copy to that these occasional
glimpses of a glorious future you keep feeding us
